| Hi Cindy,
This past Monday, March 27th, was Murphy's (Ashley and Toby's litter) 1st birthday. I thought you might enjoy seeing the attached pictures of him. I just wanted to tell you what a great dog that Murphy is. He has the perfect personality. I have never once seen him angry or upset. He has to be the happiest dog. His tail never stops wagging. He has never met a person that he doesn't like. He hardly barks and I have never heard him growl once in his year of life. His groomer comments each time he goes to get cut about
what a perfect cocker spaniel he is and how he has the ideal features and
coat. A lot of my family members would like to have a clone of Murphy (
or another puppy from his parents) someday, especially my mother.
I noticed the litter
After having Murphy my husband and I have realized how
important it is to make sure that the dog is from a good breeder.
Our other cocker spaniel is complete opposite of Murphy. Her breeder
was breeding for her roan markings and not for her personality. She
has a very independent personality and only does things on her terms.
I wouldn't trade her but she definitely doesn't have the best personality
plus she has skin problems and is always at the vet. She and Murphy
get along great though. She thinks that she is the boss of him and
he is fine with that.

| Dear Cindy and Mike~
I just had to email the both of you and say THANK YOU for Bovi (Peanut & Toby's puppy 1/16/05)!! Bovi is the sweetest little guy ever! I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments I get on him every single day! He is always happy and so many people like to call him "wiggle butt" because he's almost shaking his little butt over excitement! When he went in to his Vet for his annual check up a couple months ago...even his Vet mentioned how happy he is to see a Cocker like Bovi! He said "It is so refreshing to see a Cocker with such a wonderful temperment!" He says it has been years since he has seen a Cocker as sweet as Bovi! He is definitely one of the favorites at the Vet's office. His groomer says she grooms over 30 Cockers and Bovi is the one with the best coat, she says his coat is so soft and easy to work with and he is just an angel to work with because he always sits still and lets her do her thing. She even told me of a woman that wanted to offer me money to buy him from me!!! I told her to tell the lady to keep dreamin!!!!!! ha ha ha ha! He does not have a mean bone in his body. My neighbors have a puppy they bought a few months before I brought Bovi home ( a schnauzer) and they tell me how their dog has growled and bit them! Where I live there are 8 dogs in our row and it seems as though everyone has difficulty in some way or another with their dog and Bovi just walks around like the perfect little angel that he is! He is such a "mama's little boy" that he now loves to just sit out on the porch (off leash) while I fire up the grill...he NEVER leaves my side. The neighbors are amazed when they see him do that, seeing as he's only a year and 4 months old! We have been going on walks in the park and I have had people riding by on their bikes and actually stop! just to see him and compliment what beautiful markings he has! Just yesterday we stopped at the Jewel grocery store to pick up pop and as I was loading up the pop in the back of my SUV a man yelled 3 cars down "Hey what kind of dog is that? He's goregous!" One of my girlfriend's goes on walks with us sometimes and she said to me that she cannot believe how many compliments I get on Bovi. When people ask me where did I get him, I tell them right away your names and I say Paris IL! I tell them that it was worth every single minute of that 5 1/2 hour car ride (round trip 11 hours) to pick up my little guy. I cannot stress to people enough the importance of going through a respectful, quality, loving and caring breeder such as......Cindy and Mike Hall!! Thank you so much for helping bring this little guy into the world!!! He is my best friend, my baby...whom I nick name "peanut" (after his mommy of course) and "peanut butter" (since he looks like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!) hence his full name Bovi Reese Remond. I couldn't have asked for a better little roommate!!!! I will refer people to you always and I will forever be grateful to have found you guys! Sincerely,

| Hi Cindy and Mike.
First let me say congratulations on the babies. What wonderful
news! I would also like to apologize for not emailing you sooner about
our cocker we got from you over a year ago. Boston is from Wrigley and
Aruba born March 20, 2005. I must say that you must keep this combination
of breeding for a long time. Boston is the absolute best thing in the world.
He listens well, trains like a dream and is our best friend. He goes everywhere
with us. Every time we go somewhere he jumps in the car and sits in his
seat and lays his head down knowing we’re on our way to some place fun.
Everyone has fallen in love with him. The groomer we take him to says he
is an absolute joy to groom. He loves to get his hair cut and have a bath.
He is even great at taking pictures. As you can see from the picture I’ve
inserted, we even had him in our engagement pictures. I was very tempted
to actually have him in our wedding but really didn’t have the time to
train him what to do so we scratched that idea.
I check your website every so often just to see what puppies
you have and if you have any new dogs in your breeding program. I have
noticed that you do have another Aruba/Wrigley litter coming up. We have
talked about getting another cocker but want to wait until we’re in a house
and out of the apartment. It just isn’t big enough for another dog. We’re
lucky Boston lets us live there too. When the time does come we would like
another out of an Aruba/Wrigley litter so hopefully there will be one later
on.
Again I’d like to thank you for our best friend.
Yours truly, Sara and Jesse

| Hello,
I just wanted to write and update you on our cocker that we bought last September. Duke (Gretel and Resse's litter) recently celebrated his 1st birthday on July 12th. I have attached a picture of him that was taken a few days before that. I just wanted to tell you what a perfect dog Duke has been for us. He survived a move wonderfully and has never given us any trouble. He gets along very well with any other dogs and loves to play. Duke is a very happy dog and fetch is his favorite game, I am glad I chose to get a male. He definitely is the man of the house. Everyone that has met him says what a great personality he has. Duke's veterinarian and groomer both have complimented him tremendously on his behavior. Thank you for bringing this puppy into my life, he is the greatest dog and I wouldn't trade him for anything. I apologize that it took me this long to email, but I will try to keep up with pictures of Duke. Thanks again!!! Angie Meyer ![]() |
| Dear Cindy,
Our kids surprised us with a puppy born February 14, from
Ashley and Toby's litter. He is the sweetest little guy. We love him so
much! I do hair and have a shop in my home,he wants to be at my feet 24
hours a day.Sometimes on my feet, if he gets a little afraid he thinks
he needs to be close. It makes it a little hard to do hair ! My clients
love him , he is my greeter. His best friend is our cat, she thinks she
is his mom. She washes his face and keeps him cleaned up. Sometimes at
night they will be all snuggled up together. Our daughter has a male from
a previous Ashley/Toby litter who is just over a year old he and Marley
love to play, when they are not together Tiffany can just say the word
Marley and Murphy stops in his tracks! I just wanted to let you know what
a great dog he is and smart too. He rings a bell we have at the door when
he has to go potty. Thanks so much for bringing him into the world. I dont't
know what we would do without him! I've attached some pictures so you can
see how much of a cutie he is. Thanks again.

| Dear Cindy and Mike,
It's so fun to keep up with all the new pups on your web
page. And thanks for letting us keep up with the twins too!!!
They are so cute! It's hard to believe that our Rookie is 3 and a
half years old. He and his brother, Riley, (my Sheltie) are both
licensed therapy dogs. Rookie is just wonderful at it! He is
so friendly to all the residents at the nursing home where we visit.
When I first started taking him, I couldn't get him settled down.
Now, he's still excited, but he's just perfect. He is my number one
dog now. I really enjoy doing this. You would be very proud
of him! Thanks for breeding such wonderful dogs.

| Mike and Cindy;
Happy Holidays and hope all is going well. I wanted to
share with you that Guinness and Java just recently celebrated their 4th
birthday and another Christmas holiday. They love gifts and they are in
great health! They continue to be the best of buddies and must be together
all the time. Guinness and Java each have their own personalities as Guinness
plays hard and then passes out like the description of his dad. Guinness
must always have his head on someone’s leg or lap or at times on Java’s
back as they did as pups. He still is our little monster but gives back
the hundreds of hugs and kisses he gets everyday from us. Java is the runner,
jumper and the perfect mate for Guinness. He was a fast learner and is
so strong. Its hard to describe Java as he is so perfect. He loves life
each day and if he could talk, he would say thank you for picking me and
Guinness. He is so full of energy and hugs and kisses. Java is a water
boy who loves to jump on the first step of the pool for a big drink or
to play and cool off in the summer. Both Guinness and Java have had swim
lessons and are always supervised when around water. These two guys are
very happy and make coming home something to look forward to each day.
I have attached a couple pictures. We hope you all have had a great Holiday
Season. Kelly and I continue to look at your website to see the new arrivals
and the new male and females who are producing the very cute litters. Happy
Holidays

| Dear Cindy
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
I bet the twins were so much fun this year! The puppies you have
on the web page with your co-breeders are beautiful! My Rookie is
doing great! He is the "king of the nursing home" when he goes to
visit. Thanks for breeding such wonderful dogs. I am so thankful
to have one of your dogs. I wouldn't get a cocker from anyone else.
Hope 2008 is great for you and your family. Keep the web site current.
It's so much fun to see all of the new pups. Thanks again.

| Cindy and Mike:
Just to let you know that Felix and Oscar are almostseven months old and are just doing fine. We are most pleased that we decided to get two pups from the same litter. Both boys have great temperaments, learn quickly, are loving and friendly with us and other dogs and friends. They have been great company and we enjoy them each and every day. Keep up the good work. Felix and Oscar finished their basic obedience course
and are half way through the intermediate course. In March they will
begin the advanced training course. The maximum points they could achieve
in the basic course is 160 points which is a perfect score. Felix
scored 154 points and Oscar scored 150 points. Attached are their graduation
pictures from the basic program. I am also enclosing a picture of
the pups
The boys do enjoy going to class and learning. Also
living in Michigan they just love to play in the snow
